Limit your children time in front of electronic screen

Children who watch television or use computers more than 2 hours each day are more at risk for experiencing psychological problems than children who do not do it. This is true even if the child including the active child.

This conclusion was drawn based on the latest research on 1013 children aged 10-11 years in England. The study showed that those who spent more than 2 hours in front of an electronic screen, either watching television, or using a computer, or a combination of both, have a tendency to to problems in social relationships with others and their peers. These children also tend to have difficulties to express feelings of sadness or unhappiness they experienced.

This study also shows that although the child is physically active children (like exercising, playing outside the house / playground), but if you watch television or play computer games more than 2 hours still have the same tendency with children who are not active physically to experience psychological disorders. Further study, children who spent more than 2 hours in front of the television screen or computer to experience the effects of physical and serious mental degradation.

Based on the results of this study, one researcher, Angie S. Page, PhD from the University of Bristol in England suggested that parents continue to motivate her children to do physical activity and gradually reduce the free time in front of electronic screens. Children who perform physical activities have a promising psychological health.
