Obesity Men, Total Sperm Short?

A recent study published in the journal Fertility and Sterility, The Official Journal of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine on July 29, confirmed that obese men have a tendency to have lower sperm counts than men with normal weight.

This corresponds with previous studies which stated that men with obesity tend to have lower sperm counts, sperm quality is also lower.

In obese men, sperm has a slower mobility and motility of the less well when compared with men who are not obese. The relationship between obesity and quality of sperm is still unclear. However, researchers suspect this is related to changes in testosterone and other reproductive hormones that occur in men with obesity. In this research themselves, hormone levels are not influenced by body mass index, but by age.

Age Factors

Age is an important factor to consider in the link between obesity and quality of sperm. Older men with body fat composition which also tend to have larger lower sperm quality than younger men.

Research conducted by Dr. Uwe Paasch and his friends, from the University of Leipzig in Germany involving 2157 men between the ages of 20 to 30 years. The results showed that, at the same age group, men with obesity in general have a lower sperm count than men with normal weight.

In previous research, dr. Uwe Paasch and his research team found that high body fat composition in men associated with the occurrence of changes to the sperm protein required for the functioning and survival.

If possible there inhalers, give. If the victim is unconscious, then give Basic Life Support (BSL – Basic Life Support)

* TAKE TO PHYSICIAN.

Take immediate patient / victim if the complaint continues to take special care.

Use a protective mask and to reduce potential exposure to the existing ash. However the first one is the best aid of paramedics who have the knowledge to solve problems existing emergency. Aerosol vaccine has a way in through inhalation, provide as effective protection on the market today. This vaccine does not require cooling, injection, aqua pro injection, and the syringe so that the underdog of the vaccine predecessors.

Researchers at the UNC School of Pharmacy led by Tony Hickey, Ph.D. research on dry powder vaccine provided by Harvard University that its use via inhaler. Aerosol vaccine is under collaboration of Harvard University and an international company not-for-profit Medicine in Need (MEND) can provide low-cost vaccines, needle-free, and stable at room temperature.

“The use of this vaccine is as good as the injectable vaccine” said Hickey, a professor of molecular pharmaceutical division. Real advantage of this powder vaccine is not required to be maintained in the refrigerator. The vaccine also does not require needles, syringes, and distilled water like a vaccine injection. Their use of drugs like inhaled, just breathe deeply, which makes it ideal for developing countries.

This type of vaccine is spray dried instead of freeze dried. Spray drying is the process of spraying a liquid through which air is heated (gas heated) such as nitrogen to create the form of powder. Traditional TB vaccines are freeze dried, requiring refrigerated and transportation and aqua pro injection to combine vaccines so ready to be injected. Spray dried vaccines do not require refrigeration or aqua pro injection in its use.

Acid Ursodioksikolat Save Infection in Infants

Urdodeoksikolat acid can improve sepsis-related cholestasis by reducing bile acid in the blood. Cholestasis is a state of yellow because of liver disease. While sepsis is a severe infection in infants born and resulted in multi-organ failure.

Dissertation entitled The Role of Acid Ursodeoksikolat Mechanism Against Kolestasi Related Sepsis: Special Assessment Ekpsresi mRNA (messenger ribonucleic acid) and Protein Transpoter Bile Acid on Mice.

Sepsis is the leading cause of death in patients with critical illness, the second leading cause of death in patients with non-coronary intensive care unit and cause the 10th overall disease in the United States. The average length of treatment due to sepsis is three weeks with the economic burden reached 17 billion dollars per year in the U.S..

Sepsis is also a major cause of patients treated at the Neonatology ward prospective cohort study, from 1625 neonates who came / was born February 1 to June 30, 2007, found 138 paseien sepsis, and in 65.9 percent of them in getting cholestasis. Patients with sepsis and cholestasis require longer treatment and runs the risk of death 2.25 times higher than sepsis patients without cholestasis.

Fractures (Broken Bones)

Definition
Fraktur is a breakdown of continuity of bone, epiphyseal plates, or joint cartilage.
Type
There are various types of fractures. To be more systematic, can be divided based on:

* Location
Fractures can occur in various places on the bone as in diafisis, metaphysical, epiphyseal, or intraartikuler. If the fracture is obtained in conjunction with dislocation of joints, then called a fracture dislocation.

* Area
Divided into complete and incomplete fractures. Fractures incomplete example is cracked.
* Configuration
Viewed from the fracture line, can be divided into transverse (horizontal), oblique (slanting), or spiral (spiral). If more than one fracture line, then called kominutif.

* The relationship between the fracture
Inter-part fractures can still relate (undisplaced) or are far apart (displaced).

* The relationship between fracture with surrounding tissue
Fractures can be divided into an open fracture (if there is a relationship between bone and the outside world) or fracture closed (if there is no relationship between the fracture with the outside world).

* Complications
Fractures can occur with accompanying complications, such as nerve disorders, muscle, joints, etc. or without complications

Tongue

In the language of medicine, the tongue (and all that involves the tongue) is called Lingual.

The tongue is actually a collection of many muscles. Judging from its size, the tongue muscles including the most powerful muscle in our body. These muscles have a different direction, that’s why we are very flexible tongue to move in any direction. Muscles of the tongue there are two types, intrinsic and extrinsic muscles. Intrinsic muscles enable us to vary the shape of the tongue (elongated, shortened, rounded), whereas extrinsic tongue muscles make the tongue can move around the oral cavity and pharynx.

Broadly speaking the tongue can be divided into 2 parts, ie 2 / 3 front (called the apex) and third behind (which is called the dorsum).

The front of the tongue is very flexible and cooperate with the teeth in the pronunciation of the letters. The section also helps to move food in all directions when you’re chewing. The tongue is also pushing the food back to the chewing surface of teeth so the teeth to grinding.

The back of the tongue is also important for mastication. Once the food was fine and mixed with saliva (saliva), or when the spit, the muscles of the tongue back to work. Muscle together saliva lift and push the food into the esophagus, the “pipe” that connects the throat to the stomach.

Calcium And Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis is a brittle bone disease over the age of 50 years marked by bekurangnya bone density.

Actually both men and women have a nature that one day the bone tissue will shrink. Only, the shrinkage in women more than men, because women’s bones are very influenced by the hormone estrogen. In women, the shrinkage occurs 3% per year and will continue until 5-10 years after menopause. Lifetime, women will experience a depreciation of the bone around 40-50%, whereas in males bone mass will experience a depreciation of only around 20-30%.

Giving Calcium can prevent the occurrence of osteoporosis, although this opinion is still a contradiction in many circles. Indeed, with the provision of calcium alone makes the bones become dense, but does not guarantee the bones will be broken, because the bone does not only consist of calcium alone, but also consists of organic substances such as collagen. Collagen is what makes the bones become elastic and not easily broken.
